Posted: Wednesday, October 29, 2014

SimCLIM 2013 was part of a suite of tools used by AE2S and CH2MHILL in a research project for the City of Bozeman, Montana. The tools were acknowledged recently with the team taking out the 'Studies, Research, and Consulting' award with the American Council of Engineering Companies - Montana. The award-winning Bozeman Integrated Water Resources Plan (IWRP) included future growth and water use trends and the potential impacts of climate change (SimCLIM 2013 applied) on Bozeman’s water demands, plus water rights challenges, and a comprehensive review of water conservation strategies. The IWRP will facilitate the City of Bozeman's forecasting of its water supply requirements over 30 and 50-year planning horizons. The award winning project will now enter a nationwide competition.
