CLIMsystems has assembled an excellent team of climate change adaptation and risk assessment experts with a combined experience of over 200 years. Six members of staff and Associates are Nobel Laureates and, as such, represent the strong scientific underpinning of the CLIMsystems suite of software and services. Five members of staff are registered in the UNDP National Communications Support Programme (NCSP) Roster of Experts. Staff have worked in over 50 countries. CLIMsystems maintains an array of international associates. Our staff is multilingual with capabilities in several languages including English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Filipino, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Our staff, partners and associates can provide a range of climate change-related services. A key activity is consulting whereby we can advise on climate change risk and adaptation projects. It is the experience of staff that introducing us to a project from its very earliest stages of development can save the client considerable time and money by formulating the right question and devising the best methods for its most efficient solution. CLIMsystems can then implement a climate risk assessment program, provide due diligence on data and methodological issues and even examine other individual's or organisation's climate change risk assessments and advise on their appropriateness depending on a client's requirements.
CLIMsystems has an extensive network of data and model providers. They span across the public and private sectors, academia and non-government organisations. In essence, our vast and broad experience in the field of climate change has meant that we have developed an unparalleled array of contacts around the world.
