Welcome to SimCLIM

We are in the final stages of testing the new link between SimCLIM and the very popular Decision Support Systems for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT) software package designed and released by ICASA. We have worked closely with the designers of DSSAT for the last year and we have a developed a very efficient tool for pertubing DSSAT weather files. The perturbed weather files are then easily identified so they can be run in a DSSAT project. The end result is a project that can reflect the consideration of an array of self-defined climate change scenarios. This tool could be very valuable for generating longer term landuse change plans that consider the implications of changes in temperature and precipitation.
